Privacy Policy

TronTerm is a native terminal that runs entirely on your own Mac. Our principle is simple:your data stays on your machine.

1. No collection, no upload

TronTerm has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. It never sends your commands, output, or keystrokes to the developer or any third party. No ads, no third-party tracking SDKs.

2. Local storage

Command history and AI interactions are stored in a local SQLite database at~/.tronterm/tronterm.db, which you can delete at any time.

3. AI features (⌘I / ⌘E)

These send the screen context you choose, your current working directory, and relevant history through the AI CLI you configure (claude -p by default). How that data is handled is governed by the AI provider you pick and its own privacy policy; TronTerm merely hands the data to the command you specify and keeps no extra copy. Nothing leaves your machine unless you invoke ⌘I / ⌘E.

4. License activation

Activating a license key validates it with our sales platform (Lemon Squeezy). This involves only the key itself and a device activation count — never your terminal content. See theLemon Squeezy privacy policy.

5. This website

This site uses no analytics or advertising cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts (Noto Sans TC, JetBrains Mono), which sends your IP to fonts.googleapis.com; block it in your browser if you prefer.
